I am a proud graduate of Warren Tech and Ralston Valley High School, with deep roots in Jeffco education. My grandfather taught Jr./Sr. High School at multiple Jeffco schools, my grandmother was also a teacher in the district, and my mother now serves as an assistant principal at Manning Middle School. I serve on the Jeffco STEM Advisory Board advancing Career and Technical Education at our Warren Tech schools, and I know the difference these programs make for students.

I have first hand experience of what happens when resources are cut from Jeffclassrooms. That experience drives my commitment to putting students first. Whether through college, technical training, every student deserves a clear pathway to success. I am eager to serve as Director of District 1 and to expand opportunities that prepare students for meaningful futures.

Growing up, I attended quality public schools, and saw firsthand what it takes to provide a quality education. My mother was a teacher who then worked for the teachers union, where she spent over twenty years advocating for students and teachers.  She taught me the value of public service, and the importance of public education.  I am now the proud parent of a Jeffco student.  We chose to raise our son here where we knew he could receive a quality education.

I am running for Jeffco School Board to restore transparency and accountability, repair relationships between educators and administration, and ensure that the district truly listens to community concerns. I’m a practicing attorney with a background in public policy and negotiation.  I will use my skills to advocate for students, support our teachers, and listen to the community.  Together, we can ensure that Jeffco continues to enjoy quality schools.

I’m Tina Moeinian. I'm running for the Jeffco School Board in District 5 because every student deserves a fair, safe, and supportive education. My career as an Equal Employment Opportunity specialist and mediator has been dedicated to resolving conflict, building collaboration, and ensuring all voices are heard, valued and respected. These are the values I will bring to serving on the Jeffco School Board.

Jeffco Public Schools must get back to the basics: strong teachers in every classroom, a focus on student achievement, and opportunities for all students to pursue different pathways after high school. I will work side by side with families, educators, and the community to create stability, strengthen trust, and ensure the betterment of our schools. I will make the Jeffco School Board more transparent and accountable by ensuring the community is heard and that all students feel safe and welcomed.
